Okay, so I'm going to tell you guys what I have learned about so far while playing on oW. I HAVE LEARNED THAT BRITISH WORD SPELLINGS ARE FUCKING AWESOME :D
It's like English *wtf bimbo moment* it is English except spellt awesomer! I know this because I have a few British friends and they type so cool.
*wtf* I'm sounding like one of those stereotypical American bimbos o.O
anyway here are some spellings I'm going to put out.
cozy=cosy
color=colour
theater=theatre
shocked=flabbergasted
ass=arse
vagina=bum
:D You learn something new every day!!!!!! But then this arouses some questions:
Does the UK microsoft word pick up colour as the official word while you're using spell check?
Does UK google pick up colour as the official word while you're using spell check?
Is the censor different for arse? cox in USA when you want to sensor Ass it's sensored as @$$, in UK does it sensor as @r$e? Something like that?
Do you guys get in trouble for saying bum in class? cox I always thought bum meant hobo or something equivelant.
I am in love with the spellings man. Ever since when I was a little kid, I used to read Roald Dahl and Matilda and everything. (I remembered how in second grade one of our spelling words was color, but I accidently spellt it colour and the teacher marked it wrong.) Now that I look back, I think teachers should've gave me extra points instead of taking points off, since I am one step ahead of other kids with international spellings. BESIDES, IT LOOKS SO COOL.
Ex. Normal: The color of my gramma's shirt is blue.
UK-FIED: The colour of my gramma's shirt is blue.
Which brings me up to my next question: DO YOUR TEACHERS PENALIZE YOU FOR SPELLING COLOR INSTEAD OF COLOUR, BECOX IF THEY DO I THINK I MAY HAVE A DEBATE WITH MY 2ND GRADE TEACHER.
I just remembered how she retired. She was so cool! I rmember how once I got in trouble in her class for telling a guy name Brandon for spelling ICUP. SPELL ICUP PEOPLE!! It's not even an option, I'm forcing you to spell it. Chant with me now alongside your computers.
